LOGLINE:
A young man and a group of friends living in a negative environment are constantly being discriminated against, growing up with the bare necessities. They are fighting the odds to survive and trying to make a living in a world were cash rules everything around them by any means necessary.
TREATMENT:
From an early age, these friends have banded together in an effort to protect themselves from gang members, growing up to see others making money they realise that they have been rejected by their society. Now having grown up the young man and his friends then begin to form hatred towards those in a better position and the law. As they begin to make a name for themselves their group begins to take a wrong turn and become more violent mixing in drugs, violence and burglary becoming more addicted into their new found power to make money.
It comes to a head when they murder a man. Now wanted for murder by police and gang members wanting them dead, their friendships are put to the test and must be resolved before they end up in jail or dead. An opportunity is then given to this young man, as he has always been the one to care for his group from an early age by one of his friends.
In the tradition of the crime thriller such as La Haine and Adulthood comes a gripping story of a young man that leaves a mystery on our hands as well as dealing with our unstable society that can be easily related to by our target audience. It is full of twists and surprises as well as each character having their own realistic problems creating a little drama and a story line in which the audience will be left on the edge of their seats.
